How to Get Arena Eggs in Grow a Chicken Fighter

The Arena Egg is the crossroads of the mid game: it is where the Haunt, Fang and Fortune lines all begin. Here is how to get your first one and what to do with the 16 chickens inside.

Quick answer: how to get Arena Eggs

  • Hatch Scratch Eggs (from Cosmo Brat, or the SERGIOVERSE code) until you pull a Slugger Hen (8%).
  • Slugger Hen lays Arena Eggs 75% of the time and Scratch Eggs 25%.
  • From the first Arena Egg, Southpaw Hen, Winger Hen and Sumo Rooster all lay Arena Eggs 100%, and they add up to 16% of the pool, so a dedicated layer usually arrives within a few eggs.

There is no Arena Egg code and no verified egg shop. Laying is the only route.

Who lays it

Agent Cluck55% (45% Fortune)Arena Egg 2%, Blazing Egg 5% (one roster for the split)
Blitz Rooster45% (55% Fortune)Arena Egg 2%, Blazing Egg 5%

One roster says every Arena-only chicken lays Arena back, so Enforcer, Strike, Caddie, Masked Luchador, Skater, Capoeira and Belt Champion are probably layers too, but only the first three above are confirmed by two indexes.

Rarities are the chickens’ own. Sites tag the egg Rare or Epic; the game only rates chickens.

What to hatch it for

The Arena Egg is a hub, so you hatch it for the chickens that lead somewhere:

  • Creepy Clown (11%) lays Haunt Eggs 75%. That is the road to Doll Hen, Reaper Rooster and the Voodoo skill. See Haunt Egg.
  • Agent Cluck (2%) lays Fortune Eggs 45%; creators call it the best of the three branch chickens because Fortune Eggs hatch Founder Rooster and Baron Cluck. See Fortune Egg.
  • Spider Chicken (11%) lays Fang Eggs 60%. See Fang Egg.
  • Baron Cluck (2%) skips the Fortune detour entirely: it lays Fortune Eggs 100% and is a Mythic.
  • Blitz Rooster (2%) is a second Fortune layer at 55%.

Everything else (Enforcer, Strike, Caddie, Luchador, Skater, Sumo, Winger, Southpaw, Capoeira, Belt Champion) is a fighter or a layer, not a branch. Sell or fuse duplicates once you have one 100% Arena layer.

Fastest farm route

  1. Start: Classic Rooster lays Nest Eggs. Hatch for Cosmo Brat (10%).
  2. Cosmo Brat lays Scratch Eggs 100%. Redeem SERGIOVERSE on the codes page for one extra Scratch Egg.
  3. Hatch Scratch Eggs for Slugger Hen (8%).
  4. Slugger Hen lays Arena Eggs 75%. Open them.
  5. Hatch a 100% layer (Southpaw, Winger or Sumo, 16% combined) and drop it in the coop or Incubator.
  6. Keep opening until Creepy Clown, Agent Cluck or Spider Chicken appears, then follow whichever branch you want.

If you are brand new, the beginner guide covers the Nest-to-Scratch part in more detail.

Common questions

What rarity is the Arena Egg? Fan sites say Rare or Epic; the game labels chickens, not eggs. Its pool runs Common to Mythic.

Which branch should I take first? Haunt if you want the strongest skill (Voodoo), Fortune if you want Founder Rooster for the Colossal Egg. Fang is the side path.

Can I get Arena Eggs from events? No footage shows that. Slugger Hen is the source.
